Lincoln Place Landlord-Tenant Affordable Housing Compromise! No Way!

The Santa Monica Daily Press asks:
"Do you think a compromise can be reached between the tenants and their former landlord? If so, what form should it take?"

The former tenants will either go or stay. A compromise would mean that they "half stay". That does not compute. No compromise is possible. Dream on! Either one side or the other will win.

The reality is that there is only a finite amount of DESIRABLE land. As long as uncontrolled breeding and immigration is allowed and the population burgeons, demand for both desirable and undesirable land will increase. (Why else would people live in Palmdale or Riverside, for example?)

More desirable land will have more expensive housing. Undesirable, cheap land will have the cheap -- "affordable" -- housing.

As long as uncontrolled breeding and immigration is allowed and the population burgeons, escalating conflicts are inevitable -- and not just in the real estate arena.

Believe otherwise, and you have demonstrated that you have your head up your ass.
